Do You FETTU?
While FETTU images are shown in traditional science venues (planetariums, science centers), one main goal of the program is to place them in just as many non-traditional locations (public parks, metro stations, airports) as possible. Currently, the project is shown at over 200 locations in 60 countries.
As an image contributor to the program, I am constantly amazed to find my solar images displayed in such unique settings. They’ve made it into in the Casa de la Ciencia in Seville, Spain, the National Gardens of Shariz, Iran and at Yue Hu Museum of Art in Shanghai, China to name a few. It’s truly global outreach and quite a feeling to see average citizens around the globe looking at a picture you took in your own backyard:
